In October 2018, Bali became a center of global attention as it hosted the IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, where world leaders and experts gathered to advance the theme “Investing in People: The Time Is Now.” The meetings emphasized that progress in education, health, and social protection begins with the people and systems that enable collaboration. Our team took part in making that collaboration possible—through technology, communication, and operational precision.
As part of our company’s integrated services in Creative Communication, Systems & Technology, and Event & Media Production, we were entrusted to provide technical assistance for the police operations system, focusing on the Baggage X-Ray Scanners that safeguarded every access point in the Nusa Dua resort complex. Acting as system analysts, engineers, and technical liaisons with the equipment manufacturer in Canada, we coordinated closely not only with the Indonesian National Police but also with the event organizer to ensure smooth implementation and operational readiness across all security checkpoints.
Despite tight security access and limited preparation time, our team commissioned and installed 32 X-Ray scanners within 24 hours, ensuring full functionality before the event began. Bali’s extreme tropical heat posed an additional challenge, affecting system stability, but through collaboration with our international partners, we implemented adaptive solutions that minimized downtime to around 8%, maintaining continuous screening performance.
This project went beyond logistics—it demonstrated how investment in people, systems, and partnerships drives success. By combining advanced technology, effective communication, and coordinated teamwork, we supported a secure, seamless environment where global dialogue on human development could unfold safely.
In every sense, the project embodied the spirit of “Investing in People.” Through collaboration, innovation, and trust, we helped transform complex technical challenges into a foundation for meaningful international cooperation.
